Lending Representative

We have a great opportunity for a Lending Representative to join a loan, mortgage and insurance company.

This is a sales-based role to evaluate and prepare loans for approval, having advised clients of financial status and repayment methods. The role holder will sell products and services and will maintain close relationships with new and existing clients. Liaise with counterparts in other jurisdictions to ensure consistency and efficiency across the Group in line with Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Work to sales and corporate governance targets for the Lending Department.
• Display role model behaviour with a can-do attitude towards work and continually support team members.
• Liaise / Correspond directly with clients/stakeholders
• Evaluate, prepare and approve loan applications in line with Policies and Procedures.
• Meet with applicants to obtain and discuss information relating to retail loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
• Provide a complete loan application with explanatory notes for approval of the underwriter.
