We are seeking a motivated Legal Manager for a 9-month position to support the in-house Legal Counsel. This rewarding role covers company law, trust law, commercial contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial duties.
Working closely with the Head of Legal and the wider Legal Counsel team, the successful candidate will assist with internal legal projects, draft and review legal documents to support client transactions, and contribute to the development and maintenance of legal templates and internal policies. They will also have the opportunity to be involved in managing client litigation and in delivering legal training to internal teams.
The ideal candidate will hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification, with experience in a legal or in-house counsel role-ideally within financial services. A solid understanding of the Guernsey or offshore legal and regulatory environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to high standards are essential.
