A prominent financial services company in St Peter Port, Guernsey, is seeking an Internal Finance Accountant to enhance their team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial records and providing insights that drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include conducting income reconciliations, refining bookkeeping practices to align with analytical codes, and developing quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements. The successful candidate will generate variance analyses to compare actual figures against budgets, facilitating informed decision-making and ensuring compliance through audits and intercompany reporting.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, precision in bookkeeping, and excellent communication abilities. Project leadership experience is a plus. A minimum of two years’ experience in the fund sector and relevant qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) are required.
