A local telecoms company is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud to join the team. This hands-on role involves supporting and delivering Cloud Services, including infrastructure, disaster recovery, backup, and security technologies.
The successful candidate will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage service provisioning, and contribute to continuous service improvement. They will also handle service provisioning, incident escalation, and contribute to continuous service improvement, all while balancing day-to-day operations and project work.
To thrive in this role, the candidate will have at least three years of experience in a systems administration role, ideally within a service provider environment. A good working knowledge of infrastructure components (including hardware, virtualisation, Microsoft AD/DNS, backup and replication technologies) is essential, along with an associate-level certification such as CCNA or VCA.
