HR Officer (6 Month Contract)

We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join the Guernsey office on a 6 month contract. This is a varied and hands-on role, covering the full employee life cycle and supporting the smooth running of the office in partnership with our Office Administrator.

The successful candidate will report to the HR Officer, collaborating with managers and employees across two jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration. They will support wellbeing and training coordination while ensuring HR practices meet legislation and company standards. Additionally, the individual will help maintain the efficiency of the Guernsey office, liaising with external partners and managing supplies and health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years’ experience in an HR role, ideally CIPD qualified or working towards it. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential. They should be confident working independently, with strong IT and organisational skills, and a flexible approach to supporting team and business needs.
