Are you an HR professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role within the government sector? Our client is looking for a dedicated HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

As an influential advisor, your expertise will support operational managers across various stages of employee engagement – from recruitment through to exit strategies. You’ll be instrumental in promoting adherence to established policies while fostering constructive relationships with both management personnel and employees at large.

 

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide precise technical advice on human resources matters
– Ensure consistent application of public service employment terms
– Govern organisational structures relating closely with manager/service leads
– Manage workforce data accuracy and sickness absence recording
– Advise proactively on conduct issues, performance management & absenteeism

 

Skills Required:

  • Technical Advice: Offer accurate guidance aligned with current HR practices.
  • Understanding Employment Terms*: Grasp diverse conditions applicable within public services.
  • Data Management: Maintain integrity regarding organizational structure information.
  • Sickness Absence Oversight: Efficiently document absences; manage related processes effectively.
  • Crisis Intervention Skills: Assist operational managers by providing solutions during early signs of workplace challenges.

 

This role demands someone who can navigate complex interactions seamlessly-someone ready not only for administrative excellence but also adept at relationship-building throughout varying levels of operations.
