Our client, a leading player in the Fund sector, is currently searching for an experienced Group Company Secretary to be based in St Peter Port, Guernsey. As a Group Company Secretary, the candidate will be responsible for managing board operations, statutory filings, and ensuring legal compliance with financial services laws.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Financial Services, along with relevant qualifications such as ICSA Chartered Governance Professional (CGP) or equivalent. In addition, they will need to have mastery over company secretarial practices, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.

As a Group Company Secretary, the successful candidate will also lead special projects such as mergers or acquisitions and will play a key role in strategic decision-making for the company. The candidate will work closely with senior management and the board of directors to ensure that the company operates efficiently and effectively. They will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
