We are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join a leading Jersey Firm. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, setting deadlines, and ensuring the quality of bookkeeping and financial reporting. A key part of the role is liaising with clients and auditors to maintain efficient service delivery. In addition, the candidate will review reconciliations, VAT returns, and other financial reports while overseeing the work of junior accountants.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA or ACA. Experience in fund accounting, institutional structures, or auditing is essential. Familiarity with accounting software would be advantageous. Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are also key.
