Fund Accountant FTC

A leading company seeks a detail-oriented Fund Accountant for its Global Private Capital Services team in Jersey. The role involves accurate accounting and administration of various private equity, property, and infrastructure funds, including investment companies, unit trusts, and limited partnerships.

Key responsibilities include preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, drafting annual financial statements under UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS or AUS, and calculating management fees, carried interest, and distributions. The successful candidate will liaise with auditors, ensure compliance with client agreements and internal processes, and respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.

Candidates should be studying towards or hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), and be able to prepare accounts from source documentation. Strong Excel skills, good time management, and the ability to work independently under pressure are essential. Prior knowledge of fund structures or experience with private equity and real assets is an advantage, but training will be provided.
