Financial Risk & Reporting Senior Associate ( Perm or FTC )

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Risk and Reporting Senior Associate to join a leading international firm in the Channel Island.

In this permanent position, you’ll find yourself acting as a vital support system for financial operations and reporting activities.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee Accounts Payable: Manage invoice processing and supplier relationships including onboarding compliance checks along with dispute resolution.
– Optimise Accounts Receivable: Handle daily cash receipts meticulously ensuring smooth functioning from fund returns to managing cash flow forecasts.
– Enhance Financial Reporting: Take charge of bookkeeping tasks across various entities whilst aiding the preparation of monthly accruals/prepayments schedules among other accounting estimates.

Qualifications & Certifications Required:
● Affiliation with a recognised accounting body (must be qualified).

Essential Skills:
● Accounting Standards Application – Apply critical knowledge regarding standards focused towards detailed analysis and holistic understanding of financial reports
● Technological Aptitude – Be tech-savvy demonstrating strong commercial insight coupled with analytical precision aimed at problem-solving
● Initiative-Driven Approach – Self-motivated nature targeted toward enhancing processes through innovative technology-driven solutions

Desirable Skills Include Familiarity With:
● Renowned software like SAP or Sage which streamline complex procedures,
● PowerBI expertise allows for insightful data interpretation
