A leading firm within the banking sector in Guernsey is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
As a Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for Statutory, Management & Group Reporting, overseeing treasury risks, and managing a team. They will provide guidance and support to team members and work closely with other departments within the bank. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial services. They should have a sound understanding of regulatory reporting and proficiency using accounting systems. Additionally, should have strong analytical thinking and management abilities, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
