A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Officer to support the operation and development of the compliance function within a small Jersey-based team.
This role involves serving as MLCO, MLRO, and Nominated Officer, preparing reports for the Board, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining compliance procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory adherence, managing statutory returns, investigating irregularities, reviewing marketing materials, responding to regulatory requests, and providing compliance training.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a compliance role, preferably within a trust environment, along with a strong understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and JFSC regulations. Holding relevant qualifications or accreditations is highly desirable. You should be detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines under pressure. Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner are essential.
