An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a skilled Company Secretary in the picturesque locale of St Peter Port, Guernsey. We are seeking an individual with impeccable organisational skills and keen attention to detail to uphold our high standards of corporate governance within the financial services sector.

 

As a pivotal member of this team, you will ensure stringent compliance with regulatory frameworks while facilitating smooth administration processes that bolster trust in our operations. Your expertise will not only contribute to maintaining statutory registers but also play an instrumental role during board meetings by managing documentation efficiently and effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee adherence to company law and regulations specific to Guernsey.
– Stay abreast of legislative changes influencing both internal practices as well as client interactions.
– Diligent maintenance involving statutory filings including Annual Validations for all managed entities.
– Proactively engage with the Guernsey Registry on submissions pertinent to entity management requirements
– Coordinate Board Meetings: agenda preparation, minute-taking, resolution drafting along with tracking action items until completion

Skills & Expertise Required:
Regulatory Compliance – In-depth understanding necessary for ensuring conformity across various legal parameters affecting company activities.
Corporate Governance – Knowledgeable about best practices required for sustaining high levels of corporate integrity through policy updates when needed.

 

This position is suitable for those with experience in monitoring legislation affecting financial service providers, particularly in registry communication. Candidates should be aware of data accuracy requirements for document retention, including filing system maintenance and supporting new client integration.
