We are looking for a Trainee Communications Executive to join our local financial firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications Director to engage with media and industry groups, assist in preparing and proofing written content, and help monitor media coverage. They will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas for campaigns and events, create social media posts, and ensure that all communications reflect the firm’s tone and values.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised with great attention to detail. While prior experience in media, content creation, or digital platforms is beneficial, it’s not required. A strong passion for writing, along with excellent spelling and punctuation skills, is essential. Familiarity with Guernsey’s finance sector would be a plus but is not necessary. Above all, we looking for a willingness to learn and a genuine enthusiasm for the role.
