Client Accountant

A premier financial services firm is seeking an ambitious and goal-oriented accounting professional for the position of Client Accountant.

This permanent position comes with a range of challenging yet rewarding responsibilities, including the preparation of statutory accounts while ensuring adherence to set deadlines. The successful candidate will also assist colleagues by contributing their expertise toward UK/Guernsey tax returns, including VAT submissions. Additionally, they will provide guidance on client record keeping and ensure that accurate financial reporting standards are met consistently.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidates must exhibit 3-4 years of experience in an accounting environment, as well as a relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CAT/AAT). Candidates should also demonstrate strong competencies such as detailed knowledge regarding financial transaction recording, preparation of statements, regulatory compliances, proficiency using MS Office suite products at intermediate level or above, excellent written & verbal communication skills, and analytical capabilities that contribute towards meticulous attention-to-detail.
