Claims Handler

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Claims Handler to join a leading Insurance firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey.

In this role, the successful candidate will primarily be dealing with motor claims, managing them from start to finish. This involves investigating the circumstances of each incident, progressing the claim accordingly, and liaising with customers, brokers, suppliers, and third-party insurers to secure the best possible outcomes. This role will focus on analysing the unique facts of each case, using skill and judgment to decide on the right course of action.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or 4-9), including Maths and English. While a Cert CII qualification would be advantageous, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service, confident, and an effective communicator with excellent attention to detail.
