We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who is highly organised and can maintain accurate financial records with ease. The candidate we are looking for will be joining an award-winning fiduciary and fund services provider in St Helier, Jersey, and will be responsible for providing support with bookkeeping tasks to the PW team.
The ideal candidate should have excellent software skills, especially in MS Excel and Quickbooks. They should also possess effective communication skills and the ability to meet objectives and deadlines. The role requires the candidate to be detail-oriented and committed to producing work of the highest quality.
In the role of Bookkeeper, the responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing invoices, receipts, and payments, reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements, producing monthly financial reports, assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements, and liaising with clients and team members.
We are searching for a candidate with a degree in accounting or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. A working knowledge of Jersey tax regulations would be an added advantage.
