AVP – Client Support Team Lead

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s Corporate & Private Banking division as an AVP – Client Support Team Lead in Admiral Park, Guernsey. In this pivotal role, you will lead and supervise a team of corporate Account Managers (AMs), ensuring top-notch client support delivery and operational excellence for the bank’s corporate clientele. Role Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary support contact between Relationship Managers, the bank, and allocated client portfolios.
• Overseeing the daily operations of AMs, managing workflows, and ensuring adequate distribution of tasks.
• Promoting adherence to service level agreements and encouraging the up-selling of banking products.
• Building and nurturing client relationships through daily communication and event attendance.
• Managing projects and system tasks with a client-centric approach.
• Resolving customer complaints and escalating issues as required.
• Conducting performance reviews and supporting the Business Unit Head directly.
• Focusing on risk management related to fraud and operational risks.

Skills and Expertise

• Strong background in front-office client support with over five years of experience.
• Proven ability to enhance client relationships in collaboration with Relationship Managers.
• Excellent team management and motivation skills.
• Expertise in resolving operational challenges and customer issues efficiently.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent IT skills and a high compliance orientation.
• Proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to embrace change and new processes.
