We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join a global Firm in Madeira. This role is perfect for a strong, detailed orientated individual who is looking to make the move from Jersey to grow a career in Audit Management.
Key responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, managing audit processes, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and overseeing client onboarding procedures. The role also involves attending board meetings, participating in business efficiency projects, and working alongside Audit Managers across different jurisdictions to ensure consistency.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with proven people management experience. A strong client focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead key projects are essential. Experience with CCH, Xero, or QuickBooks is advantageous.
