Associate Fund Controller

We are seeking an experienced Associate Fund Controller to join a team of accountants for a leading fund sector firm located in St Peter Port, Guernsey.

In this role, the ideal candidate will provide client service on transaction analysis, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities include coordinating external audits, overseeing partner capital statements, calculating waterfall models and management fees, and supporting client onboarding. They will also mentor Accountants, review their work, and manage year-end audits while building strong client relationships and participating in planning meetings.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, ACA/ACCA certification, and at least four years of accounting experience, with two years post-qualification. Private equity experience is essential, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. A CPA or equivalent qualification and experience with Allvue, Investran, eFront, or CaseWare are desirable. The ideal candidate should be organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with excellent people skills and a commitment to integrity.
