An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Trust Manager to join a leading local firm in the Fund sector of St Helier, Jersey. This is a permanent position offering excellent growth prospects in a dynamic work environment that values excellence.

As the Assistant Trust Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including preparing comprehensive valuation reports, managing client queries, overseeing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, they will be expected to deliver reports in a timely and efficient manner.

 

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar environment, be certified by institutions like ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW, and possess a solid understanding of the legalities surrounding trust operations. They should also have excellent accounting skills, a good knowledge of tax regulations, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
