We’re currently supporting a well-respected international bank in their search for an Assistant Manager – Procedural Change to join their operations team in Guernsey. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a process-driven environment and enjoys making meaningful improvements that support business performance and regulatory compliance.
In this position, you’ll work across multiple departments to identify and analyse existing operational procedures, looking for opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and improve overall efficiency. You’ll take the lead in planning and implementing process changes-ensuring they align with internal standards, business goals, and industry regulations-while working closely with teams in Risk, Compliance, IT, and Operations to ensure smooth integration.
You’ll also support the training and onboarding of staff on new procedures and tools, monitor the impact of implemented changes through KPIs, and report regularly to senior management on progress and results. Strong project management, communication and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to balance the demands of regulatory frameworks with practical business needs.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within financial services, ideally in a banking environment, and a solid understanding of process improvement methodologies, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Confidence working with data and process mapping tools, along with a proactive and collaborative mindset, will be key to success in this position.
