We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Fund Accountant to join our prestigious Client based in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
As an Assistant Fund Accountant, the Successful Candidate will be responsible for preparing periodic financial statements including cash flows and analysing underlying financial information with attention to business transactions. They will also be expected to develop asset-level management reports offering concise insights, calculate performance metrics at deal/fund levels, and coordinate year-end audits by preparing files & resolving audit issues.
The Ideal Candidate should have a progress towards ACCA qualification (or equivalent) demonstrated through passing 5 exams minimum. Working knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS within fund environments preferred. Experience addressing private equity or real estate firms’ unique accounting needs is beneficial. Proficiency in writing various types of report documents from manuals to measurement reports is also required.
