We are currently seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to join our esteemed client in St Peter Port, Guernsey. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company secretarial duties for both listed and unlisted funds as well as related entities. The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational skills, be able to make informed decisions and have a client-focused attitude.
The key responsibilities will include coordinating and facilitating Board meetings, recording meeting minutes, and ensuring timely distribution. The successful candidate should have a sound understanding of the administrative responsibilities involved in maintaining corporate governance structures and Guernsey’s legal framework on offshore funds. It is crucial that candidates possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, as this will be essential for carrying out duties effectively. Familiarity with Stock Exchange Listing Rules is preferred, and ICSA certification is an advantage.
