We are looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join an established firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey on a 12 month contract.
As a detail-oriented financial professional, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Section, facilitating staff training and development initiatives, and Financial Resource Requirement calculations for board meetings. They will also be responsible for managing banking platforms by administering user permissions and ensuring secure transaction postings.
In this role, familiarity with various bank payment methods like CHAPS, SWIFT & BACS is crucial. Strong supervisory prowess, combined with proven organisational abilities, will ensure effective supervision over the team’s performance. An understanding of IT systems used specifically within the company will help streamline tasks efficiently. In addition to these qualities, the ability to effectively solve problems independently while being proactive about finding solutions is necessary.
