Job Description

We have a new opportunity available for an Accounts Executive ( Marine Services ) to join a leading trust company.

 

The position is a full time (30 hours) permanent role and forms part of the business comprising approximately 13 staff. The successful candidate will report directly to the Management Accountant and provide day-to-day support in relation to the accounts administration required within the accounting team.

Tasks will include:

  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping for both client accounts and internal accounting
  • Working with sales and purchase ledgers
  • Updating accounts payable and receivable records
  • Chasing debtors
  • Raising invoices
  • Review of trial balances
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Inputting and reviewing online banking payments
  • Working alongside colleagues in the Guernsey office as well as colleagues from other offices in various jurisdictions
