Accounting Manager

Our prestigious Client located in the heart of St Peter Port is seeking a talented Accounting Manager to lead and inspire their dynamic team.

As Manager, the Successful Candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional client service. The role will also involve guiding junior staff through training and mentorship while managing team workflow. They will have the opportunity to prepare or review comprehensive annual financial statements and oversee quarterly management accounts production, ensuring financial reporting excellence.

Additionally, the Candidate will be responsible for crafting detailed investor reports and responding effectively to any queries raised, as well as calculating/reviewing complex transactions such as drawdowns, distributions, fees & carried interest calculations.

To thrive in this role, the Ideal Candidate will need a minimum of three years of experience in either fund accounting or audit focusing on private equity/real estate funds. Accreditation is required, and ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is preferred. They should also have a strong mastery over UK GAAP / IFRS.
