Accountant FTC

We are looking for a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join an esteemed financial firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey, on a Fixed Term Contract basis. As an Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing statutory, management, and group reporting tasks alongside an Assistant Accountant. This includes balance sheet control accounts and statutory accounts preparation.

The candidate will also enhance monthly review packs and prepare regular reports as per local authority standards. They will monitor treasury risks and participate in ad-hoc finance projects. The ability to provide accurate financial analysis and insights will be crucial in helping the company achieve its financial goals.

To excel in this role, the idea; candidate should possess ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, and have at least one to three years of post-qualification experience. Additionally, should have financial services acumen, regulatory expertise, and technical proficiency. Excellent problem-solving capabilities combined with communicative strength will be essential in building effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
