Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join independent, trust company in St Peter Port, Guernsey.

The Successful Candidate will have significant responsibilities that require strong organisational skills and attention-to-detail, including the preparation of financial statements, supervision of client entities’ bookkeeping processes, development of schedules and procedures, and collaboration with internal teams and external accounting data providers.

In this role, the Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. They will work closely with clients to ensure that their financial reporting requirements are met and that they receive the highest level of service. As part of the team, there will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced group of professionals who are committed to providing the highest level of service to the Firm’s clients.

We are looking for a candidate who has relevant experience in the field of accounting, including experience in the preparation of financial statements and the supervision of bookkeeping processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as occasional ad hoc requests may require attention.
